The next six months of BioEcon Project. This time was used very effectively. All goals set for this period have been reached. IUNG hired both the EraChairs holder as well as the three employees envisaged in the project. We have tightened up and established close co-operation with various stakeholder groups. We are actively promoting the bio-economy. In this issue of the BioEcon newsletter, we would like to provide brief information about our project activities within the last six months of the project. In this BoEcon newsletter issue, we would like to present an overview about the project and give a brief update on our project activities during the first 6 months of the project duration. The "HR Strategy for Researchers" supports research institutions and funding organisations in the implementation of “The European Charter for Researchers” & “The Code of Conduct for the Recruitment for Researchers” in their policies and practices. The concrete implementation of the Charter & Code by research institutions will render them more attractive to researchers looking for a new employer or for a host for their research project. Funding organisations implementing the Charter & Code principles will contribute to the attractiveness of their national research systems and to the attractiveness of the European Research Area more generally. The award "HR Excellence in Research" will identify the institutions and organisations as providers and supporters of a stimulating and favourable working environment. Since the adoption of the Commission Recommendation on the Charter & Code in 2005, over 1 200 institutions from 40 countries in Europe and abroad (and European/international organisations) have expressed their explicit support for the Charter & Code and 232 have obtained the Commission's "HR Excellence in Research" badge. In March of 2016 The European Commission granted logo "HR Excellence in Research" for the Institute of Soil Science and Plant Cultivation - National Research Institute in Pulawy. |
